Sales enablement, open roles, and AI notetaker

Setting up a sales enablement function

Here are 2 images that show a high-level overview of interest in "sales enablement" in the US vs India.

The US is a more mature market, but in India "sales enablement" is just getting started.

Various reports highlight sales enablement's business impact, such as improving win rates, quota attainment, better retention rates, reducing ramp-up time, and more.

Yet businesses shy away from building an enablement function for different reasons - like budget constraints, unavailability of talent, lack of clarity on building an enablement program, general unawareness about enablement, no clear path to ROI, etc.

I recently hosted Krati Seth, the global enablement leader at Whatfix to talk about her experience building an enablement function for India-based SaaS companies.

In this episode, she shares WHY you should build an enablement function.

How to crawl, walk, and run with sales enablement strategies and measure the business impact.

Having helped several startups build sales enablement strategies, she also talks about the common challenges startups face and how to overcome them.

Have you implemented a sales enablement program at your org? How was your experience? Feel free to drop any learnings below.

Interesting tool

This week I’m bringing you Voicenotes.

Voicenotes is an AI note-taker that's truly intelligent. You can just talk and it’ll automatically transcribe everything for you. Plus you can arrange these notes in folders.

The best part is, once you’ve taken a lot of notes - they have a chatbot where you can ask questions and it will answer based on your notes. I love it!

I’m typically not swayed by AI products, as most are just hype. But when I tried Voicenotes for the first time last week, I immediately started seeing why and how this can become an everyday product.

I’ve been in some situations so many times where I have to explain something to someone by text. I’ve replaced that with Voicenotes. I just speak it out, copy the text, and send it across.

I’m also using it for a bunch of other use cases. I’m excited to see how it will turn out.

PS - They’re also launched on ProductHunt. If you can upvote, pls do.

This section is not sponsored. I generally use a lot of tools/platforms in my day-to-day work. And I’d love to share it with everyone.

I’m always on the lookout to speak with interesting folks from the B2B SaaS world. If you have a recommendation, feel free to drop a recommendation here.
